Macau Day 1

The minute we arrived in Macau, we asked the organiser.
'Which hotel are we checking in?'
She hesitated for a moment, and answered with uncertain tone,

'I also don't know,it is booked by the boss, just wait and see la'

The Venetian-Paiza entrance.

The moment we reached the main entrance of the hotel,we all gulped in surprise!!
HOORAY!!!It is the latest hotel in town!!! and not until we SCREAMED ecstatiscally when we entered our SUITE!!

A big bathroom just nice for two.

The complete range of toiletries

A powder table is also just nice for ladies like us.

and our territory!!!!

Queen is always a pampered word for ladies, especially when comes to the size of BED!!!

a rather big living room for two furnished with one cozy sofa, one tea table, and one working table.

The Venetian painting on the wall
To stay in the Venetian, you must first feel the Venetian.

After settled down in the room, we both took a quick shower and dressed-up for dinner. We headed lobby to meet the organiser and friends. However, we were lost in the hallway as it is too long and the exits all look the same!

Levy and I at the main entrance.

The first early batch of people left in the first coach. Levy and I waited to be picked up by the next coach. Meantime, we requested the jockey to take a picture of us with the fountain in the background. However he said
' You two are too beautiful than anything else in the picture'
*Sweatsss.....

Famous Shark Fin soupie
Yaay! The first welcome dish since we arrived Macau. I did not manage to snap all of the pictures at this dinner because the food was served fast and finished fast. But overall the food was similiar to our local chinese food, equally tasty.

Casa De Pasto San Tou Dou
The name of the restaurant in Portugese Language.

Street scene just outside the restaurant was captured under the light in Macau.

Macau at night was captured in the coach.

The only entertainment you can find in Macau is Gamble. Everywhere you see either in the old or new Macau cities, are all Casino. Maybe because of this, this city only shows its charm at night. A beautiful night city.

Here we were after the dinner, The Sands Casino!

A friend i met when he visited KL last year, and now we met again at where he is working now.

There is one common rule in all the casinos in Macau. No phototaking, everyone. Outside the building,YES; at the lobby, YES; but never inside the casino. It's kinda bothering me at first, because the interior deco is amazingly nice with the beautiful chandelier. Sigh, now a good reason for you to check it out yourself.

Since the idea of gamble was not the cup of tea for the ladies, we did not experience the fun of it. Luckily there are also some other light entertainments for people who do not gamble but enjoy chilling out at the bar in the casino. And we had few drinks at the bar by watching live perfomances of the in-house entertainers.

Stopped by the road and capture the night view.
We left after spending 2 hours in the casino. We felt extremely exhausted already.

On the way back to the hotel, Val and Levy has not finished their conversation over woman stuff. So we went to the girl's room to let them continue the talking part. Now, the camwhores started hunting around in the room to search for a nice angle.

'Stare at the lamp Jean but don't face here, look with the eyes and smileee just a little.....!'

Now you see the avid photographer filled with enthusiasm over my posing lol

Check out Levy's sexy back! I am so regret i did not snap a picture of it Dam! or you people will be drooling like a river!

The Big Four in the room. Alrite after having a great whole day, it's time to 'conserve' our energy for tomorrow. G'nite!

* Coming Next: The Grand Canal Shopping Centre, the arcade, the gondola, St Paul Cathedral and also the Portugese Tart. The arcade is built just the same as i saw in Venice, impressive..*

Macau/ HK

After Bangkok, places below were the second spots i have travelled this year. I've heard much about how fascinating this tiny place is about and finally now, i managed to explore the wonder-land by 'accident'. (It's not planned by own will, but a suprise trip given by the organiser.)

The winning of MMU 1st-runner has rewarded me a good trip, i must say. Despite some miscommunications on this trip with the organiser earlier, i have no regret for tagging along on this vacation.

People asked me :"Do you go there for a mission?"
I hesitated for a moment. "Probably...cuz i don't know"
Now i can tell you, " It's not really for any missions to be done, it's more like a fun vacation that you got to meet many people, dine in fine local restaurants, and being served like a VIP."

The view from the window of my room in City Garden Hotel. A very typical scene in HK, just like what we see in the HK drama. The units in the building are really small. Buildings are built closely to one another. When i lifted my head on the street, all i saw was zillions of cage-like residential buildings.

Souffle (in canton they call it SOR FU LEI)

A very special dessert was introduced by the organiser's friends in HK. According to them, it is made of egg white, stir until it turns bubble, put it in the oven and you'll see it done as picture shown. The skin is abit crispy but it's all soft like custard inside. It is served hot so i nearly had my tongue burnt:P

Anyway, please bear with me on the coming post of this trip. I will keep the post up as soon as i unpack my luggage, finish doing my daily routines, settle down on a laptop and start typing.

*Upcoming Post: The city of Win/Lose-Macau. The heart-pumping casino..and the simply amazing Venetian hotel! Not to forget the portugese egg tart, grilled seafood and more...*

A short homecoming of Mellie Bee

Jerry and Mellie
They are high school friends, neighbourhood friends, and also sisterhood friends.

Jerry and Me

Jerry has always been a funny character in the group, just like her adorable girlfriend.
Forever and ever the couple is going against each other, yet they still stick like honey.
*shakes my head

Mellie and Me

The "Peace" Sign was what i learned from Mellie Bee 3 years back when i visited her in Brissy. Because of that, she is always known for her "Kawaiiness Wannabee", you will know what i mean if you get the chance to browse her daily piccies..lol

Mellie. Carrie. Me. Mr Botak

The four crazy college pals that look as retarded as always..look at our androgenous fren-Mr Botak,he has always been the bestest man cum sister of us!

After 730++days, finally our little Bee flew back to her homeland and stopped by to see her lovely friends for a little.

If you have been reading my blog, you may ponder why my entries are about meeting friends, provided more the long lost friends. In fact, they are not my long lost friends, instead they are still very much in touch with me.
I believe there are few types of friends, one of them will be the one you are very much close with but you do not get to see them often. They are this type, i believe. The reason im writing this is because i don't get to talk about them all the time.

Ever since Mellie has decided to set her life in Brissy for good, she would need to start a whole new chapter of life. Despite learning to ease and deal with the daily struggles, she has picked up pretty fast in this foreign land. I really like her spirit and willpower. If it was for me,one of the biggest struggles would be homesickness or being so far away from our dearly ones simply drives me sick. ''Distance makes the heart grows fonder" shows us the real meaning of what some people mean to us. Mmm...a meaningful phrase.

This time we had our little get-together session at Bangkok Jazz. Carrie suggested the venue because Jerry loves the live band performance here. It's true, the vocalist has a powerful voice. The music and performance was awesome, we enjoyed ourselves. However, we all have to admit it is a bad spot to initiate a conversation. The audio system was too strong to project good echo in this sphere that made us barely talk. Probably that's the idea, this place is not meant for chit-chat.

Since it has always been so hard to drag this little girl out as she was packed with her activities like relatives visiting, home gathering, packing+unpacking, resting, shopping, and so on. Therefore, knowing that, the precious 3 hour out of her packed schedule to spend with us was considered a bonus, Lol. Yes i am writing this to make you feel guilty.

Eventhough we really enjoyed the precious 3 hours spent, but it was too short for the conversation. Sigh, your bad:(

Needless to elaborate on this, we awaits your next comeback*Winks
Be good, WOman!

My July Babe

She was my third babe that i celebrated her special day with in the same month. A very good buddy ever since high school. I think i have missed her birthday for two years while she was away and studying in Aussie. It's always good to gather again for any occasions possible but sometimes we just can't deny the fact that time really passes like a rocket. It felt as if we only met yesterday. Sigh, each time we celebrate a special occasion, we have come to realise we are one year older.

t's okie, let's age gracefully:)

We know you love japanese, and here we were at this highly recommended restaurant Umaiya at Damansara Perdana.

look at the sashimi slices, simpy irresistably sexy...

Various sushi that we had

This one is good, tasted like beef but it's not..It's grilled tuna!

Blueberry CheeseCake from SanTerri

and this is specially for you babe....Our birthday girl is a big-time cheese lover. I was initially ordering a half kg cake, but right after i made the order, i changed my mind. Half kg for this girl is just not enough, provided more i remember her family loves cheese cake too. So i quickly called back to the shop and reordered for a 1kg portion, and fortunately they still had stock. However, 5 of us had already finished half of the cake itself, and Yen li had the half of it home.

The next day she MSN me, she said her 'the other half' in the fridge was already gone in the morning itself!
Who had moved her cheese? It must be her dearly father. LOL.

High school buddies rock forever babe!It was a really nice dinner. i am very happy that we still keep the celebration ritual going on every year. I can remember those years that we were so excited for the celebration waiting to open the present. haha, but after all these years of giving and receiving, we have gradually turned this special ritual into something more ordinary. Maybe no present anymore, but a plain gathering. and it makes our day!

I think now we have come to understand the quality time we spend together for the special moment is far more meaningful than anything else. Keep the bond, ladies*with love.

Footy Cake with LV Monogram from SanTerri

“Moy,今年生日要什么?”
“ 我要那个朱古力色的,格子格子的bag”很顺手的,你指向那个站在CLub外面的女孩戴着的包包。”
“噢,那个!哈哈,没问题!”

Don't Play Play, the cake Sifu even put a Louis Vuitton Paris label on top:P

不知是否性格太接近,这两位朋友偶尔吵嘴,但都是一些非常琐碎的小事情;

只要是说到她,我们都可以笑很久;

New YOrk CheeseCake with Heart Shape by SanTerri

From Left Lynette,Moy,Racheal,Stefanie and Me

Our mutual boyfriend-Hammie
