October Issue

Pargolf and Me

My very first time with Pargolf, one of the local leading golf magazines. It was a pretty fun experience to me. All thanks to Mr.Doyle-my collegemate that i used to threaten him by wanting to cook him in a pot anytime when he provokes me( i call him HObbit and he calls me Giant) for having my face in the magazine. I love all the golf apparels i wear for the shoot though some of the trousers look big on me, haha...but Gayanye! Check me out in the October issue.

The happily reunited Giant and Hobbit...its good to see you again!
ehh..You've grown up so much...how come we look almost the same height err? You are not so hobbit afterall...! Lol

My Safari adventure with Cocorich

Just attended the KLPF (KL photography festival) for Cocorich event with Amber, Jojo, Shirley and June. The number of photographers and the amount of lights can simply make me blind, can die. No joke, that's just unimaginably packed!if you missed the event, you can visit the website to read the blog or check out the collection!

Just a little update on my appearance in October, phew* time flies like a rocket :'O two more days to say goodbye to October!

Reminisce of Paris

A walk on the street

Strolling along the streets in Paris is simply a big enjoyment, especially for those who loves to sightsee the very ordinary and typical scenes in the city. The streets in Paris is never quiet but not too busy. The convenience of the underground transportation makes the walking even easier by having each stations every 5 minutes distance. If you are feeling tired of walking, pick any of the cafes, bars, or any restaurants you may find anywhere and have a latte or hot chocolate for a short break. You may find it suprise, most of the tables in the cafe are rather small and only comes in two seats. Often if you pick the seat outside the cafe,the armchairs are placed on the left and right of the table,so the patrons are facing out the streets. E'nuf said, the purposely is clearly illustrated. Sipping your coffee and have some cookies to bite, relax and watch the Parisians walk-by scene.
Ah...i miss the Coco..

Have a French Onion Soup

Besides Coffee and bread, French Onion Soup is a popular French puree. French onion soup is cooked with onion
and beef, and cheese as toppings. It is served as a starter in a pot while it is hot with some bread on the plate. A very tantalizing dish that one should not miss,especially in the winter. The onion tastes soft like mash, and the meat is brewed with the aroma of the onion. The French has their eating habits and culture, i think i have made several mistakes by having a simple meal like this.

While eating the bread, you should tear your bread into a bite-sized piece before eating it.
True.
It is very impolite to take a bite from the whole piece of bread.

Guess what? I was too hungry that i stuffed the whole bread in the soup and opened my big-wide mouth...and swallowed it....and licking my finger..:) Yummy.

Learn more about
French table manner and eating habit to avoid the embarrass stares from the waitors like me:P

Sitting in the garden can be calming.

A jog in the Luxembourg Garden (
Jardin du Luxembourg)

The garden is a common leisure spot for the French. It is a public park where the local young children and parents to spend the beautiful evening together. The place is popular for its tranquilizing atmosphere. It is a perfect place to read on the bench, or to do picnic under the trees.
Despite having a big beautiful pond in the center of garden, many statues and sculptures are found in the garden.

Experience the Eiffel Tower

Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest building in Paris. Needless to elaborate on this, this is the soul building in the city. I think many will find it as cliche as it sounds, the tower makes people fall in love or at least make them feel they are in love. Well, i am not being stereotype saying that romance shall only happen or be discovered here. But it is a very true feeling that i once felt that way by watching at this beautiful tower. *winks

Overlooking the Seine River

Seine River is just right next to the Eiffel tower, yes, that's the one you often see as the backdrop in the postcard. Tourists can never miss the river when they tour around Paris but they often neglect it as one beautiful attraction. Walking by the river is refreshing and the air is cooling thus far in winter. The cruise and dinner tour is offered to those who love to sightsee from the riverboats. It is a little pricey for a student like me during my trip, so ms Butterfly and i walked almost the whole city until our feets cried themselves to stop.

Now i miss the walking part..

Taking picture on the road which leads to the Arc de Triomphe

It may sound crazy and odd by standing in the middle of road, making a pose, and smile for a picture;whilst the Parisian drivers throw you a queer smile. You will never be alone by doing that. It is a very common scene where tourists take turn to capture the shot at the same spot, and from the very same angle. Crossing the road and walk on the Champs-Elysees street, you get to indulge in the most enjoyable shopping sphere!From LV, to Lancel or even LongChamp will help to cheer up your sore feets.

It was three years back since i travelled to Europe. I wonder when i get to revisit the beautiful city again. Well, more to write if i can think of anything else. Ciaoz!

The impressive fashion piece of New York Skyline created by Zang Toi (Source from The Star)

Btw, just came by to read the article titled 'I Love New York' on the star online yesterday. What a piece of fashion! How will it look if they use the Paris skyline and has Eiffel Tower in it!Too bad Zang Toi is a NYorker rather than the Parisian, but his inspiration is greatly a world recognition. So we should look up to the local designs;and hopefully one day we will have our very own art piece titled 'I Love K L'.

See you tomorrow:)

Pick A Dress

Coming friday, i will be attending as a model for the hair show organised by Chezz Technique Saloon. The hairshow will be held at the orange club.

Just tried on the hairstyle of my theme weeks before, BOMB--astic! Not telling you how i look, but its gonna be a very wild wild wild WOW look! Mmmm how excited! The best part is we get to select the dress provided by TANGOO for the show, of course one goes well with the theme.

Let's have a look on the dresses,
Well, 3 main point to determine the selection:
(a) It has to be long, (the organiser's requirement)
(b) My theme is more like an African Maasai style
(c) It has to be sleek, stylish, and of course WOO-HOO...

Okay people, make a choice!

The flower printed kimono-like long dresses

Mmm Ms Moy said i don't look good at all in dresses like this. She said i look like one pale floating skeleton:(
But... I personally love the purple in the middle, it makes me feel so BOhemian!

Sexy and elegant gowns in various colors

They all looking pretty for dinner and functions, but they want something more than it for the show. *Scratch head

The Hawaiian Peacocks

Ooppssss I love them all, especially the one in orange! But they said they were too soft for my theme..*Sweats

So tell me, what's your pick?

The Star Eater

After the giraffes eaten all the stars,
the whale sleeping at the end of the world will be awaken and sing the most beautiful and happiest song.

Buwawa said that stars was once peoples' tears.
I wonder why are so many people crying as the girraffes can barely finished the stars.

Of late, i've found this interesting website-Soloist, that displays wonderful drawings, and i particularly love this one. I have plenty of ziraffes with me everyday,now i know where my tears have gone to. I really love the idea of the drawing, perhaps now i know what their long necks are for:) Hopefully they only eat the crying star, not the smiling one.

哭的仿佛像亲身经历一样;
为什么偏偏找一个像古天乐本身已有坏坏的男人本性演这个如此深情的角色;

分分隔隔多少个地方,多少个岁月,不管身旁睡着的是谁,心不曾离开过对方;

小米从来都没错过什么,虽然她害怕失去,但她不曾失去小南;

小米坚持不说‘爱’,她怕在小南的心中分量会越变越轻;

生日快乐四个字,代替了我爱你;
这个动作,就像当初小南送她手机的时候;

虽还丝丝抱怨迟来的生日祝福;

小米对人不相信,也没安全感;
小南想给她信心,给她希望;
但他没办法留住生命去爱她;

Small note for you, Lynette

Dear Net Net,

Thanks for the precious arrangement given to all of us for this was the first time we travelled together, we had not have so much fun in a while back! and we forgot to share you the embarrassing story on the departure day from KK. Lol*

Clifford and Hammie ordered a meal in one restaurant at KK airport before boarding. The girls were very concerned of the food quality so we did not bother to make order along.

But then,we all saw the boys having the plate of rice+fries+and freshly fried chicken seemed fresh and tasty! Ads insisted she wanted to eat on plane, so four gatal girls went and ordered the food at the very last minute, and the food only arrived when the boarding annoucement was made! Four beautiful flowers (Moy, Rach, Stef, and Me) swallowed everything in 5 minute!

Each with their own plate,not sharing! Can you imagine how kelam kabut it was!Once we sapu everything,we all just grabbed our bags and ran to the boarding gate with full-mouth rice, and still chewing... and Guess what!!! Ms Stef can't find her boarding pass!!! Ms Moy was very Kin-Cheong, we all were sweating hard! The air stewardess quickly talked via her walkie-talkie to hold the flight.

"Oh god, don't tell us you lost it girl!!"
" Oh its HERE!!!!" With all the stares at her, she pulled out a small piece of paper from her purse!

At last, we were not that late though!We managed to catch the flight with all the stare of patrons in the plane, sweating all over and seated,breathing hard. The smell of the chicken still lingered in my mouth. Lol. And guess what, one big plate of chicken rice with fries did not stop us from ordeing one set of Chessy Sandwiches, Roti Jala and 1901 hotdog bun! LoL*

Of course there is so much to share...
Btw,we all feeling happy and sad at the same time for you. You have found your new home in Perth, means we don't get to see you as we like anymore. We will not worry about you for we believe you'll be fully taken care of by your Prince. Do update us on your life okay, i am sure Ms Fairy Tale will be greatly inspired by you. Haha, she will know who she is. Not to forget, keep us in the loop if there is any updates on Mr P & Ms R!

Happy Forever Princess!

With love,
all of us

Lynette's wedding in KK

5 chi muis and 2 heng dai from the girl's side!

Lynette,here we come!!!!

*DingDong*

" Welcome all of you, but please wait with patience!"
"First task to accomplish, you are given one full plate of mooncakes. Inside each mooncake you'll find a little wording from A-Z, please find the wording for the name of the bride."
' Yes, her name is LYNETTE'

For some reasons, we believe that the crowd might have eaten the wording together with the mooncake, therefore they cant find the correct spelling for the bride's name.

"Since you can't get her name, then make a word with the little wording that you want to express to her"

"LOVE"

Alright, let's move on to task 2.

Well, maybe we have been too nervous with such big group of people. We have been told to be gentle with the bridegroom for he grunged he only had small little gang of supporters. and Who knows,we have been fooled! and guess what, his supporters are way too spontaneously supportive!

Vinegar + Yogurt +Wasabi = Sour Delicacy

Black Coffee + Cincau = Bitter Delicacy

Fresh Banana + Freshly chopped Chili Padi = Spicy Delicacy

" Cheh, like that only is it...No problem la !!!"
Within 1 minute, the wasabi-ish yogurt is finished!

" Ohh banana only,come all heng tais! Let's just finish it!"
OMG, it is just a peanut for them!

"Bump-ing?? Iya, easy la! Ah Boy,come! Do 30 or 50? Show them your power! "
Wahseee, we all nearly faint. What a task? The level of difficulty to them is O! LOL

As discussed earlier with our princess about the challenge, we have came out with the theme called " Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Spicy". Of all these little challenges, it indicates a meaningful message behind for the bridegroom. Hehe, don't ask me:)

It says in Chinese, "Chui Wei (Lynette), I Love You, Chun Haw(Bridegroom)"

The bridgroom showed his artpiece in glee.

Okay, we are greatly impressed with your supportive group of force!
It's your turn now, Mr Bridegroom. We know you can't read or write Chinese, still you gotta accomplish this one by yourself.
" Use only your mouth to hold the pen, and write as shown in the paper"

The long waited princess has finally met her prince.
What a beautiful capture!

All pictures taken from Lynette. Captured by her professional photographer-Jeffrey Wong

This was the her second wedding dinner we attended in Kota Kinabalu.
It was a wonderful trip!
A Wonderful wedding again!
